Austin After Dark

Austin After Dark is the brainchild of my dear friend, Patrick Davis. Being a local Austin music lover like myself, Patrick constantly found himself being asked what show was going on that night. So, he gathered up a handful people of who he considered to be Austin Music Aficionados, and put together a website where anyone, local or visitor, could go and see where some of the best Austin musicians were playing that night. I was among that group considered to contribute for Austin After Dark. Every week, myself and the other contributors, post our ‘picks’ for the week. During SXSW this year, we had a HUGE guide highlighting all of our Austin locals and their shows.

Austin After Dark also hosts a monthly radio show, where listeners can listen to interviews of Austin bands who have news worth sharing (new record, big upcoming show, etc.) We’ve even expanded to start hosting “Austin After Dark” showcases.
